Our role as biomedical scientists is to seek out new knowledge that expands the frontiers of human understanding and engineer safe and effective technologies that benefits Society. As such, we are searching for passionate and dedicated students to join us in this common endeavour.
Candidates interested in carrying out research at the undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral or staff (research assistant/associate) level should contact Elmer Ker with a personal statement, proposed research, academic transcripts, and curriculum vitae. Also, candidates interested in Doctoral studies are highly encouraged to both apply for entry into the Ph.D. program at the School of Biomedical Sciences at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (Application deadline: typically early to mid Jan of each year) and the Hong Kong Ph.D. Fellowship Scheme (Application deadline: typically early December of each year).
Overseas Faculty or Ph.D. students who are interested in our research and wish to visit us for short-term visits (Faculty) or research attachments (Ph.D. students) should contact Elmer Ker and apply for The Chinese University of Hong Kong's Faculty and Ph.D. student mobility exchange offered by the Office of Academic Links (Application deadline: typically early April of each year).
